That is what I'm thinking too. I'm just wondering why they would put in the manual to change it every other time? Am I just reading to much into it and they are assuming everyone would just change the filter every time, or do they have a reason for recommending every other oil change.
It's because in the mornings when it's like 32 outside and i have my car set for 72 it never turns on the AC. I was just wondering if I'm doing something wrong like maybe i have a setting turned off somewhere.
I have noticed in auto mode it never seems to turn on the AC or at least it doesn't show its on. Does auto ever turn on the AC? or is there a setting anywhere where i can tell it to use AC?
So when i was going through the maintenance section on the manual i noticed that the maintenance minder has a code to just change the oil (code A), and another for the oil and filter (code B). So i did some research and found that oil filters need time to break in before they reach optimal...
I thought you had to use synthetic in these new cars, honestly i don't see why you wouldn't. Also have you noticed in the Maintenance Minder code A says to just change oil and code B is to change oil and filter. I've read a couple of articles on how it decides when you need to change your oil...
the problem is that its all the way in the middle of the car and a regular jack can't reach that far in. It's like under the shifter if that makes any more sense.
I guess so. I'm just curious if there is a better way, like to lift up the front from one point to make it easy to put 2 jacks stands on the pinch welds. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow, it's all covered in plastic underneath which i guess isn't a bad thing since it keeps all of the road junk...
I can't find a good place to jack up the front of the car besides the pinch welds. it looks likes there is a spot in the middle to jack it up but I am not sure if that is a jacking point, or if i could even get a jack there since its so far under the car. Has anyone been able to find a good way...
