Hey there.

I’ve only had them for about a week but they’re great so far. Smooth ride, nice grip, great price and sharp looking (imo). They were highly recommended by the installer and seem to be rated against much more expensive tires.

Hope that helps. 8)
Thanks brotha! Exactly my thought for the price can’t beat the performance it gives. Were you able to drive it under wet conditions yet?

No worries.

Good contact in the rain for general driving. Admittedly, I haven’t done any hard breaking or quick starts to test the tire grip in wet emergency situations.

I will say that we are currently received some pretty sever freezing rain conditions here in Toronto Canada at the moment. As expected these tires are absolutely terrible in winter and/or icy conditions. I believe Chicago receives similar weather to Toronto.

Yeah right now we are experiencing freezing rain, everything is like ice outside. Be careful driving in those tires man these are summer only tires!!

Hey, would this set up work on my '16 EX Sedan?
235/40R18 is basically the same size as stock, albeit an inch wider, and what I ordered for my 17 EX. +35-40 offset on 8-8.5 wide rims has been fairly universally acceptable on stock springs. I've seen 19x9.5 with a little adjustment to avoid rubbing on 265/30R19's. 235/40R18 on 18x8-8.5 can be dropped about 1-2" without issue with the right offset.

Enkei TY-5 18x8.5 +35. 235/40R-18 SUMITOMO HTR A/S P02. I cant believe how much this changed the way the car feels! MPG is soo easy to flop, though. Lighter wheels, but wider coming from the factory 17x7+45

Finally got feels like the winter is over enough to put my wheels on! Bought them during Black Friday sales and have been staring at them ever since.

There is no rubbing currently. The first picture looks like some minor poke but it was taken just after they went on and the suspension wasn't settled. They are pretty flush.

I'll report again when I get my Eibach Sportlines on(hopefully next weekend)

Wheels:
XXR 536 polished black w/gold
