Are shops afraid of work or just want to charge crazy amounts. I am in Austin, TX and got a few quotes to install my lowering springs. One was $850 and the other was $920!!! Did have one quote for $600. Think I will be doing it myself or going with craigslist ($200)
I have 18x8.5 +35 on stock suspension. Like people above mentioned it is the perfect setup. tires wont wear too fast, no rubbing, flush look, and MUCH lighter than the factory wheels (unless you get something really bad).
I was able to get a pretty close match to make the side markers "disappear". Did it with pastidip with a guide i found online to match white orchard pearl pretty closely.
Since i know it will be asked

i bought my Carb Hondata for my cvt sport for $300 bucks and for that price it drives great and i still think its a steal for someone wanting a cheap used option to add a lot of power
Go for it is really easy if you have a Mac get a ktuner if not get hondata or ktuner. If you just want a plug in play it really easy just set it and leave it. Tons of good videos are out there and they give you a step by step guide when you purchase it.
