I was surprised that it had not popped up on the maintenance minder after 7 years and 67k miles tbh… so how exactly are you driving to have it pop up that often? 😯
No Maintenance minder for it but the plan was every 50k. The past few months I noticed the "shifting" to not be as smooth and sometimes even drag out longer in a higher RPM than usual almost like it was sticking or something idk. You would only notice it if you paid enough attention to it though...
I've noticed an immediate smoother "shifting" after changing the fluid and the car is seemingly more responsive as well. Next on the list is spark plugs...
Just posting this as a notice/reminder to change your fluids!!!
I saw something about the Moriomoto Elite H11 kit on a few threads, but wasn't sure if that would work with my EX Sedan which has stock halogen bulbs.
i have a feeling everything I need is included the kit, but just wanted to confirm.
hmm I'm really torn between the two... i can see using 5w30 with the 1.5T engine just due to the turbo thinning the oil quickly, but with our 2.0 I'm not really sure... I can't see our lower powered engines running so hard as to needing a thicker oil. You are also in Montreal where it gets super...
I was curious to see how everyone's engines were looking and what OCI and oil types were being used. Also if Blackstone or some other Company was being used.
I almost think it has to do with the tires though, just because when I hit certain surfaces like paved bridges, it's super loud and not even my Subaru sounds like that.
I don't like taking people in my car because they aren't easy on things and slide their feet in and scuff up my door panels and kick plates. Also finding scuffs on my glove box and upper part of the door panel -_- I look at my side and there's none of that. I take my coworker a few times to...
Just got a '16 Honda Civic EX two weeks ago. Love the car. Only thing I've noticed is the road noise. I think it has to do with the Firestone tires... Probably not the greatest. Looking forward to wearing them out and getting some continentals.
