Slight miss at idle??

Hi All,

Can you listen to this clip and tell me if you hear a slight mis-fire at idle? My car has never idled super smooth, even when brand new but I’m wondering if some valves are overly tight and that could be the cause. It’s never thrown any codes.

Sounds like a normal exhaust burble to me. These cars don't have a smooth idle. You're not throwing a code so I wouldn't worry.

I agree with GTMan. No code? Run it!

My stock motor ran a perfect idle but my built motor does weird shit sometimes at idle. I don't think their is a rhyme or reason specifically as all of my data points are perfect.

Thanks for the replies guys! I just got the car back from the body shop and of course after a rental car for three weeks it feels fantastic.

I think I’m just paranoid. I may tackle a valve adjustment/check at some point though (I did that twice on an old Acura V6). I’d be curious if that affects anything.
