What's going on guys. My civic hatchback has about 1200 miles and I'm filling up th my gas around 31 dollars about 10.5 gallons. I'm getting only like 230 miles to the tank... is that normal???? That's about 22 MPG something must be off no? Last 4 times I filled it up this happened.. I don't drive hard at all and mostly inner city sometimes freeways..

That sounds pretty normal to be honest if you are mainly driving during start-stop traffic. Take a look at the many other threads regarding MPG and you will see you're not the only one

Two tanks in on my 6MT 1.5T and I'm averaging about 35MPG. Lots of highway cruising at about 77mph with a light mix of city, drive throughs, ect.

I think that's normal. I use my car to commute 5 days/week in the bay area and drive on i-80 and its stop and go traffic. I fill my car up once a week. I'm average 25-30mpg.

I took my car on a road trip last week to Oregon and was roughly 4 bars to empty when I got to my destination, google maps had the route I took at 380 miles. So that's roughly 35-40mpg? So it really depends. The car excels in long highway driving but shitty mpg in stop and go driving.

Why is the Hatchback MPG so much worse then the Sedan? I have a 2016 EX-L Sedan, and am averaging 38+ MPG every tank. And this is with a 75 City/25 Hwy mix of driving. Sure glad I didn't get the Hatch if it's that bad.

I don't even know how you average 38 MPG with 75c/25h mix...Anyways, everyone drives differently, and there are just too many variables to get a good comparison amongst everyone. I average ~31 MPG (and this was calculated by me, not the car) on my hatch with 95c/5h, which falls right in with the EPA estimate.
