loving it... i'm really hoping the Type-R gets a special blue though... I will be getting one in blue but i just don't want it to be the same as the standard Aegean blue now... maybe something closer to the Accord coupes Still night pearl :rolleyes1:

Man, I kinda wish I would have waited for the HB. I didn't know they were making one though. Oh well. Looks cool, but not enough to trade my Coupe for it.

No thank you. Love my sedan. Coupe looks good but has horrible resale. The hatch is pretty much a 4 door with a hatch connected to it. As for the "200 hp Euro" version, pretty much guarantee that the US versions put out close to that. The US versions are underrated on their output numbers. Really hope when Honda brings the "SI" and "Type-R" , they will offer a 4-door version of either and with a stick.
do all coupes have bad resale ?

I like it... Im in budget for anot her new civic... ;)
Do you think the 2017 Hatchback will address some of the early production issues on the 16s? I want a Civic really bad but would want the hatchback.

I love hatchbacks but Honda really over-styled those vents on the Civic hatch (front and rear).

Check out this pic comparing the sedan's rear to the hatch's:

The large fake vents are good. Less surface area to wax and polish 2 times a year. The rear diffuser area also looks a little more cohesive.

I say if their going to make fake vents? Do them with deep combs to make them look more realistic and gloss black JDM plastic.

I love these people who don't get the car they really want because the "resale value" isn't quite as good. So funny.

I will buy what I want but always ask - funny thing is I keep my card 10 years so it won't matter ;)

I too am hoping a lot of the first year model issues will be ironed out on the Hatchback. But if they don't announce something firm soon I will have to move forward with an Accord, which is not a bad thing but I really wanted the Hatchback.
The only Accords I like are the Sport or the Touring. If the Sport had everything the EX model has I would have went with it. Accord touring is nice I just cant get myself in a 500 plus car payment. The civic sedan has everything I need and want.

I have had a 2010 civic lx coupe and a 2012 accord ex coupe. They both tanked on resale compared to the four door version. My accord and my sisters 2010 civic ex four door where shocking. Both had similar miles but my car was only like "kbb" estimated 1000 more. Plus the new four door looks better imo compared to the two door.

These are looking pretty sharp although those rear vents still bug me. I also wonder how rear visibility is with the dual spoilers.

Maybe it would have been better toned down something like this...
