Do these kind of parts come painted or do you select a color or something?

Most (if not all) of the other body or trim parts on that website come pre-painted in the colors; however, looking back at the bumper cover, it does not. Weird. Maybe that's why it is for in store pick-up only?

Why are you sourcing a bumper if you were rear ended? Wouldn't the other driver's insurance be covering the cost paid directly to your repair shop?

He could be trying to not involve his insurance so he is fixing it out of pocket to be reimbursed later.

That happened to me...in my old beater.

Guy backed into me and made a small dent on my door panel. He denied everything.
I took him to small claims court and recovered body shop repair estimate, comparable rental car and related court costs. I got a default judgement and submitted it back to his insurance co. and got a check.
Fixed it myself. Edit: Recently retired so I had lots of time on my hands lol
    Take pictures.
My insurance co was not involved

Worst case scenario is going with my insurance but that is most likely end up in totaling the car and premium will go up.
