Tweeter all of a sudden became loud

Hi all. I replaced my front tweeters with JL C2 and I just noticed yesterday that they sounded louder than usual. Has anybody experienced this?

More efficient ? You do have a crossover on the tweeter right ? At the very least a single capacitor somewhere around 4.7 uf.

No CROSSOVER on the SI .. It has the Premium Sound system, and each Tweeter has it's own AMP Channel .. ie 10 seperate, DSP controlled Channels , one for each of the 10 speakers
