I wanted to share my Invidia r400 catback exhaust I got this week for my 2017 Civic Si (Coupe). If you guys are familiar with Invidia products you know these catback systems are not of a cheap quality, the axle back portion of this system is all hand welded. I know the biggest debate when it comes to the 10th gen Si exhaust is the tips, but personally I love the 3 tip design. I can confirm that the 2 door, 4 door Si and type R will come with 3 tips for their r400 and q300 designs. I was not given a release date on when these will be released (most likely summer). When I asked for the price on this catback exhaust I was told somewhere in the price range of $1,200 for Si models and $1,500 for the type R. What are your guys thoughts on sound, design and the price on this? Sounds good... would like to hear what the Q300 sounds like and looks like mounted up .. Price is a bit high though if they are going to retail for that... Invidia has tended to have much better pricing on exhausts for Honda and Acura... but this price that that have told you is almost a turn off:dunno:

The q300 sounds similar, but a little bit quieter from what I remember. The r400 had a deeper tone, test fitting was over a month ago so memory is a little vague. Yes pricing seems a bit high, but from what they told me its because they have to hand weld the axle back part of the exhaust. Im glad I was giving the opportunity to use my car to test fit.

Price: High
Sound: Meh. You could say it sounds better, but I wouldn't say it sounds good.
Looks: Three exhaust tips on a 1.5T is looks f**king ridiculous.

The three tips are huge and seem to take up most of the space. I’d probably end up going with this exhaust if it were a little cheaper. I’m just not convinced with any of the dual exhausts out. They look weird to me cause of the big gap but the tri tip fills it up really nice

They only had the r400 and q300 when I went, they could possibly add the n1 to their line up later.

Which is why I went with the r400 over the q300, the design.

I personally dont mind the tri-tip design... only honda guys would know its emulating the type-r... so who cares? The sound is decent... the overall finish seems good except.......... For 1200 bucks you would think the tips would be perfectly spaced. However both the coupe q400 and the sedan q300 you pictured have uneven spacing on the tips. This would bug me at that price... I could justify it for say... 600 bucks... but not 1200.

Then again it could just be the angle of the photos?
