Great Drives

I’m on a vacation road trip. Yesterday I drove Ukiah to Mendocino, CA via Orr Springs and Comptche Roads. What a fantastic drive. A challenge for those who love to actually put a car though it’s technical paces. It’s not a speed run, unless you are suicidal. Twisty, steep, various levels of pavement quality, and some magnificent scenery. Take a spotter, you will have your hands full watching the road.

When I lived on Long Island every weekend I would drive on the north fork of the island it was twisty and hilly and more scenic than the south fork where the “Hamptons” are
Florida is flat and straight

I'll mention it again......The Tail of The Dragon (US 129), is quite a thrill!
