Where do you drive for fun?

Here in NE USA, very few good driving roads I have found.
Maybe US 91 in VT, Rt 190 MA, 7,44,8 in CT, for stretches, but nothing great for any distance. Too many cars, police, towns, traffic, etc.

Where are the great "driving roads" you know of?

I've been driving on the same few miles of winding roads outside of Philadelphia... This area kinda sucks for that. I wish there were good driving roads around here. I certainly don't know of any.

Tail of the Dragon (US129). 318 curves in 11 miles at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
Doesn't get much better than this!

Route 1A in New Hampshire. Has to be during the spring or fall though. Get's too busy during the summer.

US276 starting in South Carolina near Marietta, up thru Brevard, NC across the Blue Ridge Parkway and ends in Waynesville, NC.

US178 leaving Sunset, SC and ending in Rosman, NC

NC-215 starting near Rosman, NC and ending in Waynesville, NC

NC-151 going from the blue ridge parkway and ending west of Asheville, NC

NC-226A, in and around Little Switzerland, NC

NC-80 headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway

US-28 aka Moonshiners 28, Walhalla, SC to Deals gap, NC. 103 miles of pure driving bliss ending at the dragon.

NC-209 "The Rattler" near Hot Springs, NC

Here's a loop that I use as my "You wanna go for a mountain drive, follow me" route. the Greenville area is 700-1000ft above sea level and at one point on the parkway you're at 5700ft.

Just about anywhere in the smokies is great. Man I love that region. Tn #68 from Tellico plains down to Mccayesville Ga. Is a fun drive, Cherokee to Maggie Valley is good also. Just a beautiful area.

Here in SoCal, I usually go for Angeles Crest or Turnbull Canyon! Who’s ever down for some canyon riding HMU!

California 36. It leaves highway 101 just south of Fortuna and heads east to Red Bluff. Considered one of the best motorcycle roads in North America, so no doubt great for cars too.
I did it a few years ago on my motorcycle and loved it. My wife on the other hand was almost getting sick. When will this road end!

The north fork on Long Island there’s some curvy roads from Riverhead to the point . route 25a ( sound ave)
I used to drive it every weekend . the roads in Florida are straight and flat

There are fun roads to drive in Wisconsin, but Wisconsin roads in general are a suck fest. You could literally name each pothole after a teacher or other government worker who will get a pension long after those potholes just become another reality.

The Honda CBX super sport is my favorite motorcycle ever since I’ve seen one in a show room in 1980 with my brother . at the time seeing a inline six on a motorcycle that was crazy

got me a clean run up the mountain on Cinco de Touge-O. 8 minutes bottom to top, the car impresses me more every time i drive it.
