  1. 2022 CIVC live debut

lol, the reviews pretty much all knocked the crazy design, however, they all praised the drivability.
  2. 2022 CIVC live debut

I owned a civic probably before you could drive so I think you should run along while the grownups talk. tbh, right now I own a mk7.5 rabbit edition and this dsg transmission has spoiled me. Best transmission I’ve ever driven so I’m not even sure I will get an 11th gen. until they step up their...
  3. 2022 CIVC live debut

Haha, you guys are idiots. The 11th gen looks way better. 10th gen with its fake vents and over designed by a 10 year old lines. I imagine the si and R will look much better as well, i would feel like an idiot had I just bought a new R

  5. Poll: Is 2021 going to start the 11th generation?

89% said no, lol, got some genius’s in here
  6. Buying civic si

these older si's I've been seeing are molested to heck with mods or have been in an accident. Easier to find a 2014/2015 but then they are getting a little pricey. I suppose 2014 might be ok since it has push start as well, this year any good or what year would you guys get?
  7. Buying civic si

well there are a few cars I wanted to see that are coming out possibly next year like the new subaru wrx/sti that I had been waiting to see. I recently had my car bought back by ford for class action lawsuit so I am forced to buy something now. Didn't really want to buy a brand new car only to...
  8. Buying civic si

there any good years for the 8th or 9th gen I should look for, or any options I should look for on the car?
  9. Buying civic si

Hey, I’m thinking of buying a cheaper civic si to learn manual on and hold me over for 2 years. Would probably only keep two years and buy a brand new car at that time. Not looking to spend that much so I don’t get hit with depreciation when I get rid of it in 2 years. What year/years civic si...
  10. No! You can't drive my Type R

It's a 35 grand civic, This isn't a gtr man. To the guy who wouldn't even let you sit in passenger seat, wtf is wrong with him. I can understand dealers not letting test drives on brand new to keep low miles but this is just silly. If my friend wants to drive it and I'm riding along its no big...
  11. 2020 speculation? Think they will drop the R in the USA?

I hope they don’t but they only sell fast because they don’t make hardly any of them. Honda isn’t making money on them.
  12. The Shadow Type R Build

    Oil catch can lol
  13. Civic Type R US Sales Numbers (to date)

Yea in these "economy" fast cars, automatic is rare. However once you get into the more expensive and faster cars, auto becomes more available and popular
  14. Anyone trade up from 2018 to 2019?

like I said before, I would wait a few months for the 2020, could be refreshed or another variant released which could be worth the switch. I think metallic grey looks pretty cool on the civic type R with the red accents
  15. Anyone trade up from 2018 to 2019?

I wouldn't do it now. I would wait and see if they refresh or add a variant for 2020
  16. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Well when you throw a little 1.5 liter in, I agree, it needs to be tuned lower hp for oem brand reliability concerns Honda might have. That 2.0 liter engine should of gone in but that would increase cost too much for the Si, unless they agree to increase the price of si, will never happen
  17. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

I wish,, And 2019 gti is 228hp not 220. Btw, according to VW small car boss next gen mk8 suppose to be 150 lighter and then this current si will be even further behind. The si cost less though, which it should
  18. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Current gti is 3,000 pounds, si is 2900, so 100 pound difference. Next gen gti is suppose to be lighter. All I’m doing is pointing out how the current si could of been much better
  19. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

For 2019, they tuned the gti for 228 hp, up from 220. It’s said on many car sites, mk8 gti will be 250 and R 350hp. We will see. I’ll prob get a car in year or so and have to decide on mk8 gti, type R or variant they come out with possible for next year. Si too slow
  20. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

More than just torque, gti with premium fuel has 228hp and 258 torque, according to their website and this car is outdated, debuting in 2014 for model year 2015. New gen si has 205 hp and 192 torque and was just released. If they were going to increase hp on si, they would of done it on the...
