  1. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

The 5"Inch non touch does not integrate with the Instrument Cluster. You can't change the units, you need the correct part number from a country that uses the unit you need.
  2. I added the 2019 volume knob to my 2017 EX-L!

It really depends of the usage. I like the physical buttons better, specially when you use the lane assist feature. The back button cancel it when you don't need. The stalk button button works to cancel but when you activate by turning right, its easier to use the radio screen.
  3. I added the 2019 volume knob to my 2017 EX-L!

Brazil, for the first and second screen.
  4. Euro/ JDM spec front crash bar?

Brazillian Models use the crashbar that you are looking for. Part Number 71130TEMM00 References: This is my car before swap to LEDs
  5. I added the 2019 volume knob to my 2017 EX-L!

I'm not sure if in US you have this 5 button variant. But from my country the part numbers are (Both for civic sedan) Standard one (touch only) 39710TBAA11 or 39710TBA305 With Volume Knob 5 buttons = 39710TECP51
  6. I added the 2019 volume knob to my 2017 EX-L!

It's nice to know about this Display Swap but I think there a dependency of the software version, or... if there is a better compatibility with the 5 button screen (just a big guess). Screens side by side for comparison.

In this case you need the external AMP or change the HU for one that does not requires the amp.
  10. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

I think its easier to get one with the built in. Less wires and simple. If your HU has the double "antenna plug" in the middle it requires the external amp. This photo is upside down but it's fine to understand. This uses SPDIF2 for the amplifier. The built in model does not have it.
  11. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

Yeah, but I don't know if my idea is crazy. I would like to swap just the tabet display and keep the unit. I'm not sure if this is possible.
  12. DIY - Wireless charger install

You need to splice some signals, if you have a factory rear camera you will need a signal to that., also the headunit needs power to the tablet display and signal as well (between HU and Diaplay). The other stuff is the FM tunner and cables between them. Not so complicated but not plug and play.
  13. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

Does anyone know if it's possible to just swap the screen from a unit without knob to one with it?
  14. Blind Spot Monitoring - retrofit to US cars-

If you enter on the service mode on the head unit and try the self diagnostics it'll show all the possible modules. In case you can't get out the service screen you might have to disconect and reconnect the HU or battery (which one is easiest for you). Usually there is no problem, but I had...
  15. Variable Intermittent wiper

Yes, usually theses stalks doesn't change too much. I used the same. In my case I used one stalk from the Civic FB, since my car does not have the Auto/Rain Sensor and works fine.
  16. I was dumb and turned my Hatchback into a glider...

Check here and you will have an idea on the diagrams
  17. CRV steering wheel swap

I think there is no problem to swap the steering wheels, physically it's possible. The paddle shifters and steering controls are swappable if needed, but I'm almost sure that you won't need to swap them. The problem is the cable reel, because the heating system probably will require...

  19. DIY: retrofit Hondalink to LX/Sport

In this case you will have the XM as a option on the source list but won't work, no errors. It's important to match the FM tunner with the Head unit.
