- 2020 Civic Si Coupe. 2000 Honda Prelude (donated to charity).
I hope you're right. I mean halogen headlights? Come on that's 80s tech. Why aren't all cars come with HID or LED is beyond my comprehension. They're so much safer than halogen. And side mirror turn signals are also safety items that all cars should come with. If the SI does not come with these two items, then I'm probably gonna be seriously considering the GTI. To be honest, the new Civic styles are starting to look very similar to the last generation. I mean when it first came out in prototypes, they look very nice, but as I see more and more of them on the road, they really starting to look like any other Civic: plain utilitarian people movers with plain interior and exteriors. I think the last perfect fwd car Honda made was the Prelude. That car has the proportions of a Porsche 911 and it handled like a Porsche. Sadly, I really don't think the new Civic is gonna be better than the last Prelude.Biggest thing to take away from mules is chassis and powertrain. That's why it has the Si specific wheels, the powertrain, center exhaust. The car in terms of the shell/features and electronics could simply be a gutted EX-T coupe.
