Strangest reaction/situation you've been in because of your R?

I've had a couple of people come up and compliment the car at gas stations, parking lots and other random places. Most people don't know what it is.

I had one guy come up to me that was WAY too excited about the car. He started telling me stories about how he got a speeding ticket in his Si while riding on the speed limiter and how bad he wants to get a Type R. My brother yelled across the parking lot that we needed to go, but the guy was not getting the hint. He just kept talking, so I let him look at the interior from the outside and then told him I had to get going when he asked if he could get into the driver's seat.

Before I got my CTR, my girlfriend was filling up her car and another girl with a CTR pulled in next to her. She asked if she could get into it and check it out, so technically she got to sit in a CTR before I had even seen one in the wild.

I have had a handful of people my age, +-5 years, telling me about all the Civics they've owned. Just happened yesterday when a neighbor had a Terminx dude stopping by right when I got home. He didn't know what a Type R was, but he was more than happy to tell me about his various Civics he's owned since the 1980s.

The Audi S3 that likely had a head gasket issue that blew by me with the back passenger hanging out of the window yelling at me for what I think was a dislike of my rock guards is the only on-road odd interaction.
