any update to this I plan on doing the exact same setup but as far to the rear as possible to help counter resonance against the floor pan when its open

ok its done! heres a few photos and videos if I can get them to work. Waiting to tune until my dang mishi intake comes in but theres a noticeable difference moving from the downpipe/intercooler hondata map to the downpipe/turboback map with the cutout open.

First off. Mounted that sucker 10" off the turbo on the downpipe. Nasty sound open, slightly changed sound closed. Its not leaking just sounds... different. I have the Sequence Downpipe/midpipe so you will notice a sound difference from stock with the valve closed. It opens and closes in half a second but needs 8bar vacuum, so either very light throttle or no throttle at all. It takes about as long to open as it does for me to shift as fast as I can, so if I am crafty enough I can get it on a gear change (where vacuum is high enough to work).

That’s choking the hell out of your engine when the cutout is closed...

not sure what you mean 8rotor. 3" catless breaths well enough.

Please explain. Are you referring to the back pressure due to the extended pipe?

Use Youtube. Save the file there, then post the link in this forum.

Not sure how much power you’re expecting to gain. My Camaro makes ~575whp through stock exhaust and only gained 4hp with the cut-out open.

If a 3” catless downpipe gives about +15 whp, that is probably what he’s getting closed or open valve. But the sound w/o resonators or mufflers is at its loudest.
