I'm not a Porsche fanboy, and who is comparing track times?
I'm just someone who has owned both vehicles and knows what a quality car is all about.
I take it you have never had the pleasure of owning a Porsche vehicle.
Pity.
I’ve never been interested. Not a pity.

You really don't know what your missing.
Drive a 911 and a Vette back to back, then you might see the light.
What's that saying...."Porsche...there is no substitute."
And Chevy...."Honey, I hope we make it home."
Enjoy your C8.
LOL

I’ve driven a 911 Turbo. Like I said, I have respect for Porsche but I just don’t like them. The C7 I had absolutely destroyed them at the track. I’m guessing you never owned a C7? Shame. You definitely sound like a Porsche fanboy.

My last post on this subject, because common sense says that you really have no authority in commenting on the quality or performance of a Porsche or any other car for that matter, unless you've actually owned one, and thus have extensive experience with the vehicle.
This being the case, all the comments you've made on this thread are irrelevant my friend.
Then you say how great the C7 Vette is, well you are once again mistaken.
Shame I haven't owned one, hardly, more like thankful I haven't owned one.
The C7 Vette is notorious for overheating both on the road and especially on the racetrack.
That's why over 30,000 C7 owners are in a class action lawsuit with GM regarding overheating issues. That's great quality.

The first viewer comment from that video says it all.
"Welcome to American car ownership."
Quote from the car owner.
"I ended up selling the car with a major loss. I can’t believe that this would happen on a $100k + car. They tried to resolve it 3 times."
Fifth comment made me really chuckle.
"Wow, look at the crappy interior, expect the rest of the car to be similar. It is a Chevy, not a Porsche. I am not surprised."
Enjoy the C8 and all the problems that will undoubtedly come with it.
