Totalled? I hope not because I love this car.

If it's totaled out, buy another civic hatch?

Update: it's confirmed as totalled. Roughly 16k in damages pictured. I think I'm gonna get the same car.
Well, it doesn't hurt to check and see what else is there. That Mazda 3... I've been looking at Skyactiv-X, the power figures are ok... though nothing that sets the world on fire, but about what they said, 2.5 power and a bit better than 2.0 economy. I get the feeling like their release is practically a beta test and it's sort if not necessarily a well tested product. The fact they've been talking about it for something like a couple years now as if it's the greatest thing ever but then are doing a limited release and don't have a US release date almost feels like they're hedging their bets with it making issues that require some large recall or future revision and they don't want to go all in yet.

Anyways, if you pick the Civic again, you know what you're getting and it's still the top of the heap from what you compared it against. Glad you're ok, OP.
