I think the Maguiars Clay bar kit works just fine. Think they run $24 or so. The finish all depends on your own elbow grease anyway

Reason I’m asking I used that turtle wax ice liquid clay bar years ago on my tiburon and didn’t like the results plus I’m planning to ceramic coat my civic in the cooler weather
I've used it with their zilla juice and I used it with carwash as a lube also. Worked great with both.

Elbow grease? Just apply the lubricant then slide the clay bar back and forth. I use Meguiars clay kit and it comes with a bottle of lubricant they called Quick Detailer.

I always Wax after Clay. The paint is always as smooth as a sheet of glass. Note that I clay twice a year, before and after winter.

Perhaps the expression “elbow grease” is not familiar in Canada. It is understood in the U.S.

He's trying to say you don't need elbow grease when using a clay bar, I'm sure he understands the term.

Anybody used one of the new rubber things (looks like a computer mouse, kind of) that is supposed to do the same thing as clay? Saw it at the store the other day but made me nervous to try it.

I just look that up on Autogeek it looks like a pretty good deal for the kit
Yup. It's much faster than traditional clay.

I still use traditional clay for smaller and hard to get to areas/very heavy contaminated sections but i use nanoskin for most of the panels now. It speeds up the claying process tremendously.

I use that along with McKee N914 diluted as a clay lubricant. You can make GALLONS of them with N914.
