Glad you brought this up, these units do not require codes.I don't think we can use it directly. It will ask for code when someone installs it in their car
Are you sure? because I saved my unlock code safely by providing my VIN on Honda website. I have 2019 SI. So it's same system with volume knob.Glad you brought this up, these units do not require codes.
Yes I’m sure. Are you sure? because I saved my unlock code safely by providing my VIN on Honda website. I have 2019 SI. So it's same system with volume knob.
Also, why did you cut all those cables if you took it out from your car. You would have just unplugged the plugs properly unless you are doing something wrong
sorry, I was just trying to check if you are genuinely selling it or trying to scam.Yes I’m sure.
The plugs were cut off the car before insurance took it. So no, I wasn’t doing anything wrong other than being able to provide the plugs to the buyer. Any other concerns?
this is plug and play.no one is going to pay this just to swap the display. 2019/2020 radios have a different harness. so most of it is useless.
Correct. He swapped the screen ONLY. Ebay has these going between $175-$350 when they pop up.https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/adding-volume-and-fan-speed-knobs-to-‘18-fk8.44744/
Link for someone who’s done the swap on a 2018.
No he swapped the entire unit as pictured. Ive messaged (3) separate members that have done the swap.Correct. He swapped the screen ONLY. Ebay has these going between $175-$350 when they pop up.

Ive sold 2 of these, and have NEVER seen one below 500 since they have released the 2019. There's currently only (1) 2019 radio on eBay and its for $800.
His post says otherwise.Thanks. I found the screen (Not the whole infotainment unit) on eBay at a very reasonable price. The seller offered returns, so I figured why not give it a shot
You’re right, my mistake. That member wasn’t the one that used the entire system. His post says otherwise.
