Hi everyone. I'm new here and looking for ideas on shock replacements.

My car has 56k miles on it and I just lowered it on Eibacks Sportlines... Car dropped like 2". Love the new stance but these original shocks will take a beating.

They are ok for now but I wanted to upgrade to match the new spring setup.

The originals are expensive! When I found them online, they were like $500 a pop and hard to find really. Wanted to upgrade for something cheaper but better to handle the lower height and maybe install modules on the sensors to trick them into not going into error.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks guys

being a Si you are very limited in your options. any OE replacement is going to be expensive. on the inexpensive side you could get a lower model strut replacement but ideally get a set of coilovers. i saw a post on this forum about someone inquiring with Koni on a replacement but there is no telling when that will actually be available.

coilovers will cost around $800 for an entry level KSport set up. mid-range set of bc racing coils will be in the $1200 range while the higher end will be in the $2000 range.
