Resonator replacement

so I have a muffler delete and I had a resonator delete too ( way too much drone )
So I put the OEM resonator back on. Now I want some more sound and I have talked to a few shops and they all say the magnaflow glass pack muffler replaced as a resonator will give it a deep sound and take away the drone while making it louder. They all said it’s a common thing that is used on the 1.5s.

does anyone know if this is true? Before I waste money on it.
