Radio not responding to volume knob and not playing sound

The radio does not respond to the steering wheel either. There are no key beeps when going around the different screens and menus. Also there is no beeping when I get close to a car and brake alarm goes off.

See my last post, I had this exact same issue. Required factory resetting the headunit in the settings. Takes awhile for it to install back up and such but it was the only way I figured out how to fix it.

The volume bar doesn’t even show up

Might not be able to use that radio for your car since it has a volume knob.

did you reset the radio in your settings? Again I had this same issue, no volume bar, no nothing. I had navigation that worked but volume going up and down didnt work with the voice guidance. It was like a glitch that occurred as the car was connecting to apple carplay.
