Makes NO sense????

I have recently updated my SI with many aftermarket parts and one of the main is Flex Fuel kit. While I do get more power, the question is why am I getting better MPG?

I have owned vehicles with Flex Fuel Kits. And traditionally, my MPG would decrease by 25-35%. However this is not my current experience.

Can someone chime in?
