Hitch Project: DrawTite - Hitch / Yakima Ridgeback 2 Bike Rack

hi everyone!

I've just installed my DrawTite model 24954 on my Civic Sedan 2016 and i'm a little bit disapointed by the look it give to the car. I though that the hitch would be a little bit more hidden under the fascia. Mine is flush with the fascia unlike the Curt model that is a good 1 or 2 inches shorter (more hidden). I know that DrawTite have updated the model and the first one was the 24937. Maybe it was better with the last year model?

Too bad I saw this post too late. I installed model 24954 on my sedan and it was sticking out like a sore thumb. You’re right about how ungainly it looked. It was so bad that I removed it right away. Thanks to this thread I found out about model 24937 and ordered one. It looked way better tucked under the bumper. Too bad I already cut the bumper 2 inches too long, no thanks to the 1st hitch i had
