Not tryna hijack you FS thread....so consider it a free page bump....but can someone tell me the 10 second version for dummies about what removing the CDV does ?
I removed my CDV in hopes of fixing my lockout problem with my aftermarket clutch, but it didn’t help. The only thing that did was this CMC

This the slave cylinder right? The thread title is throwing me off. Do any of you know if this is an upgrade to a base model slave cylinder? I have my type r retro kit ready to go in. Has anyone used an base cylinder then the SI cylinder? Let me know what you think. It’s a good deal! Half the cost at the dealer to have no down time.

Apologies. I have a sale thread for CMC as well. From what I’ve gathered it’s a direct fit and will fit any 1.5t models. Removing the CDV will help with clutch feel and throw, but it won’t eliminate a lockout problem if you’re having one. I assume you won’t since you have a Type r kit anyway
