I'm not familiar with the struts on the civic yet, but did you change the strut mounts also?

Yes i changed the mounts and links. I was wondering does the new strut come with bushings? I didnt see any.

Like I said, I've never done one on our cars yet, but the ones I have done, the bushings were in the mounts.

Not trying to be a jerk. But did you check for other loose metal parts (like the lower engine cover) before determining that the struts were to blame for the clanging?

And in an attempt to be thorough; I'm assuming that you haven't lowered the suspension in any way?

*I've never changed a strut on this car either. Just trying to troubleshoot.
