Let me start by saying I did a search by part numbers and found nothing on the subject. I noticed the Civic Si has a different transmission than the Civic EX-T 6-Speed. Obviously...The part number for the Civic Si is 20011-5CD-J50 and the EX-T is 20011-5CC-G50. Its around $1200 difference. What is the difference besides limited slip and shorter throw? I guess that is worth $1200. I guess I answered my own question.

  • LSD
  • Gearing?
  • Final Drive?
I couldn't find exact specs on each one. Would love to see a side-by-side comparison.

Gearing and final drive are the same. Only the Si variant has the LSD.

Well, LSDs can vary from $800 to $1500 depending on what you get. I guess that answers the question.
