Best to have dealer look at the issue - it's difficult to distinguish between a bad sensor = minor and NO Brakes = DOA until it's too late.
I would take it to the dealer but the other times that I have taken my other cars, they'd tell me they couldn't find out anything wrong and then I'd be out of $$. :(

Yes and I did the same thing before even knowing this thread. It is easy advise to go to the dealer to check but it costs money…
I think something is bugged with the parking break and it is airomatically locked some time so we have to manually unlock it I had some minor issues with this car too and it is only 18k miles for 5 yrs - I will stay away from Civic next time I buy a car!
