which wheels? we have a KamiSpeed database with wheel weights but it does not include all the wheels listed above. Let me know which ones and I'll get you weights
Well, can you take a look what is the lightest type that fits a CTR without fender works? Just neglect the size, focus only on weight please.

The lightest Volk wheel without fender work will be the CE28SL in 18x9 +48 5x120. I do not have the exact weight on that wheel but I have the weight of 18x8.5 +45 5x100 at 17 lbs and 18x9.5 +22 5x114.3 at 17.95 lbs, so from that the 18x9 +48 should be right under 17.5 lbs.

For comparison Volk Racing TE37 SAGA are 18.2 in the same size.

18x9 +48 (18mm more poke than OEM) - Face 2 no fender roll will be required

Ok, thanks all for the information. I like the CE28SL design and also the graphite color, maybe it would be a better match with my blue CTR than the black of the original wheels. Does anybody perhaps has an original wheel to weight, in order to know the weight difference? EDITED: I found 28 lb in another post

265/35'ers will be heavier than 245/30'ers, right?

On a CTR with the original wheels I noticed that the tire remains inside of the fender. Where I live, due to legal constraints for road use, it is not allowed that the tire comes out of the fender.
So I was wondering if those 18 mm more poke will make the tire come out of the fender, or not? Personally I do not think it, but I don't have my CTR yet (still +/- 1-1,5 month to go), so I cannot measure it.

18x9 +48 shouldn't poke out.

also 265/35 probably is just a few lb more heavier than 245/30s

I found the 20x8.5J Modulo's to be 8.4 kg (= 18.5 lb) lighter than the originals.
So an original weight of 28 lb - 18.5 lb difference equals to only 9.5 lb, or 4.3 kg!
That is very, very light IMO. Is it possible or were they talking about complete wheels instead of just the rims or is it 8.4 kg for 4 rims/wheels? Not very clear...

18x9 +48 will not poke out, we have sold a handful of 18x9 +50 and those allow for maximum tires without poke. And 265/35 will be heavier than 245/30. The 18x9 +48 will be a good size for what you need.

The modulo weight I found to be about 24.5 lbs, there's no way the wheels are only 9.5 lbs for 20x8.5 lol. I believe the weight savings they posted were for the full wheel and tire package.

I believe it might be total weight savings among all 4 wheels combined. If anyone can confirm the weight of these wheels that would be great. But for the price per modulo wheel you might as well look into a set of 19” nsx front wheels or Volks and call it a day that is unless you have the funds for them. @Kami Speed posted these specs a while back. 24.5lbs sounds more realistic on wheel weight per wheel in my opinion.

Like I did with my current Accord, after delivery of my CTR I intend to use the factory wheels for winter tyres (once the original set of summer tires is used) and like to buy those CE28SL 18 inch wheels for summer tires.

As the wheel diameter is different, I have been calculating the distance an 18 inch wheel with 265/35's makes per wheel rotation and it is 3,86 cm (1,52 inch) less than the original 20 inch wheels with 245/30's on it.

Now, as this car has a lot of torque and - maybe - I'll enhance it even more :), would it not be better to opt for 265/40's instead? Then the distance made per wheel rotation is 4,46 cm (1,76 inch) more, meaning that the CTR will accelerate harder and should have a higher top speed on condition that the engine is strong enough to battle the forces of the wind.

Does this makes sense? Of will be there physical limits for having 265/40 R 18 wheels e.g. touching components when turning the steering wheel to the extreme left or right?

Depending on what width and offset the ce28s will be you could go taller in theory without clearance issues. Not sure who makes a 265/40 since most sizes after that are a 275/35 or 25.6” oem diameter but if you do find one it should be about a 2.1% increase in speed over oem diameter.

I inserted the link to Pirelli in my original post:
Pirelli link

But there is also:
Michelin link
Comparison overview link
Those would do the trick if you wanted to go 265/40. Being taller and wider than oem you could probably get away with running a 18x9.5 et45 and up or even a 18x9 et50. The only possible limiting factor for clearance would be the front strut cups where the spring sits depending on width and offset due to the extra height diameter of the tire as well as the fenders. If you leave it at stock height you shouldn’t have too much clearance issues I believe.
