Forgive my ignorance here, but how does that play with the stock speakers? It looks like the outputs are RCA, and my speakers obviously aren't, and I don't intend to add an amp. Is the FiX intended to simply live between the stock HU and an amp?

Also, (just to follow up), I took a closer look and realized that the guys put in the ported version of the JL Powerwedge+, vs. the sealed. After switching it out for the sealed version, it's much punchier.

Okay, so there is a separate output on the HU? Using that for my after-market sub would be better than just tapping a rear speaker, right? And I hear you on the leather—If I don't go for the touring, I'd go for the EX-L.
