  1. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

In the grand scheme of things, it is certainly not bad. Using the Outlive framework though, it is very much a wake up call. I now have the language to help myself realize how scary it could get in a hurry. Basically, I was already on a train headed for well known top killers. Hopefully, I still...
  2. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

@fatherpain Keep up the great work. Your incredible attitude comes through consistently. More car enjoyment will come. I had a “wake up” event and my perspective has definitely been shifted. I had no idea how close I was to “10 more good years and that’s it”. While I know you’re tight on time...
  3. RV6 R660 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

This turbo is definitely amazing. Does anyone have pre-turbine pressure data that they would be willing to share?
  4. RV6 R660 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

Thank you for sharing additional details. A Honda engine without a great top end isn’t complete. This turbo looks to be what’s needed! Have you considered Kelford cams? Curious to see how they compare to the TR2 or TR3.
  5. RV6 R660 RED Ball Bearing Turbocharger

Apologies to @RV6 if this is too far off topic. This turbo looks fantastic and I am considering it for my DE5 ITS (https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/forevercar%E2%80%99s-its-journal.51739/) Since @speedyserg mentioned in his posts that with cams and DI only, this turbo can make power...
  6. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

@fatherpain I was hoping to read about your RV6 turbo experience but looks like that will have to be in the future. Hope things are well. I can’t stay away and came “back” with a DE5 ITS. Looks like your account exists but might not be you (tried “paging” ya)...
  7. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

Touring allocations are likely 25% to 33% of total GT3 allocations. With strong demand, touring allocations are pretty challenging to find. Rumor has it that all 2022 GT3 allocations have been given out to dealerships as well (of course, take that with grains of salt). Unless one has strong...

  9. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

Nothing escapes this group. :D Yes, 992 GT3T is incoming. I am beyond excited about the T.33. Under 1100kg with all fluids except fuel, naturally aspirated V12 that revs to 11,100rpm with 75% torque at 2,500rpm and 90+% torque from 4,500rpm to 10,500rpm, manual 6-speed, beautiful design, only...
  10. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

For now. T.33 wasn’t planned. I had dreamed of such a car but thought it wouldn’t be built before pure ICE car days are over. Then, bam, GMA pretty much built the exact car I have been dreaming about for years! Will have to work on recreating cars around the T.33. Definitely need at least 1...
  11. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

The T.50 is and will always be the halo car. The T.33 is “the perfect car” from my perspective though. Of course, there are those that can have them all. I am very happy and excited about the T.33!
  12. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

I wanted to update this group and share the excitement! Automotive perfection from my perspective The T.33!
  13. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

I think I’m primarily a FR enthusiast at heart. That said, I can see myself getting suckered into the new Civic Type R too! It’s going to be a long wait. But I’m rebuilding my cars around something special that I think will really be a true forever car. A few more days and I can talk more about...
  14. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

Well, the new BRZ is great. However, there will be incoming exciting cars over the coming months and years that I’d be happy to share my experience with this group.
  15. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

Saying goodbye for now. In an unplanned and unexpected move, I just sold all the cars and only kept the BRZ for now. o_O I really enjoyed the car and discovered an amazing community here. Happy to pop in here once in a while to share exciting car related adventures too. Nothing escapes this...
  16. HPDE Harness?

I strongly encourage you to do more research on harness use. I personally would not run without the anti-sub belt as well as some sort of Hans.
  17. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

Looks like a good setup. I’ve been through my share of shifter upgrades. It’s usually a trade off. The stock Type R shifter is precise and low effort. I am sure the full acuity setup is great. It’ll just be at a different point on the spectrum. @fatherpain work on his car inspires me! I will...
  18. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

While Civic Type R is keeping the stock shifter for now, I did order a CAE shifter in a moment of weakness. It’s for the BRZ though.
  19. (Fun & unusual?) Intro, just added a 2021 Type R

I forgot about the shifter upgrade! :D For now, I’m staying with the stock shifter. It’s one of the best stock shifters out there and it might work well for what I want to do with the car. The current plan is keeping learning Motec on a stock setup. Then a built engine with bigger turbo. Then...
