My PRL 4 inch cone air filter appears to be pretty dusty/dirty. I have a clean Injen 4 inch filter but it's more of a straight cylinder shape rather than cone shaped like the PRL filter and it appears to be of a different material. If I swapped them out, would that cause any issues?

My cousin just told me as he was driving my 2016 civic ex-t that it feels like there is no power and the boost gauge will not go past half on the digital gauge. The ecu was flashed with the hondata flashpro but he said for some reason when accelerating the car feels as if it has no power.
