Lowered the price and a bump!
Literally taking the money from this sale and purchasing a track spec radiator for the FL5!
My Mobile is 414.704.2503 MIKE
Looking to sell these together if possible. $1350 OBO total for both pieces.
C&R TRACK SPEC Radiator for FK8 Civic Type R
C&R Intercooler for FK8 Civic Type R
I had these on my 2021 Civic Type R for roughly 2 years. Never driven in snow. Car was garaged October-April. These parts had...
Gansan, I absolutely will give feedback on here once I get it on track. I really, really hope it is pretty close to good enough for cooling in stock form!
I will be putting on the same wheels and tires I run with the FK8 (Enkei 18x9.5 & 265/35/18 Hankook RS4) and same brake pads I use on the...
MediaMaster fyi...I am trading in my FK8 on a new FL5 and I am pulling off all of the cooling parts and putting back to stock.
I have an oem hood with track spec cooling vents added (huge help), C&R Radiator, secondary radiator, C&R intercooler, bigger grill
The biggest help for you if temps...
I am definitely hoping to find it cheaper than $5K if I decide to pull the trigger! No luck so far!
Let us know how the Paragon kit works out for you. Looks like a nice kit.
There is a kit from AP that uses 18mm pads, I wouldn't want that one. I need to go with the CP9668 caliper which uses 25mm pads. Its $300 more than the 18mm version and will pay for itself almost immediately:
Part #: 13.01.10088
Brand: Essex & AP Racing
Reviews and Success Stories: Be the...
I saw this kit and was interested, bummed though that they only offer 17mm thick pads. Not much of a change vs. oem for pad thickness. More brake pad thickness will allow you to run the same set of pads for a longer time between pad changes. If these ran 20mm or 25mm pads I would definitely...
Just curious...why do you prefer the Paragon 2 piece rotors vs the Giro Disc?
I am having serious brake overheating issues and am looking at getting rotors that can cool better than oem...do you notice a difference between the 2 (Paragaon & Girodisc)?
I am going to try one of these 2 before I...
UPDATE...I ordered the updated RV6 Solid Front Compliance Mount (Anti-Lift Kit) to replace the Whiteline anti-lift kit I previously installed. I just don't feel good about the poly/poly kit whiteline uses. I will take pictures once I pull the Whiteline kit off to see if there is any visible...
I should have an answer on this anti-lift kit once I get it up on a lift. Should have answers within a week.
Were the RV6 bushings too stiff? Why did it transmit so much more noise and vibrations than the whuteline?
Little update...first track weekend of 2022 for me with a couple updated parts...
1. Whiteline Adjustable Balljoints (Adds negative camber to the front) UNITY PERFORMANCE
2. Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit (Uses harder bushing than oem to locate the front control arm to the body) UNITY PERFORMANCE
3...
I did notice some pretty harsh noises (Clunk type noise from the front) while transitioning to heavy cornering load while under heavy braking...I never heard these noises until after this anti-lift kit install. I am concerned that maybe the bushings are binding under heavy load. I will know...
Heading back out to Road America this weekend for the first time this year.
I am considering adding back the C&R intercooler I removed due to overheating. Since the removal of the C&R intercooler I added an aftermarket front grill to open up the front and also added a race louvers large hood...
What a bummer! At least you have the parts coming for a fix...I am sure you will be out on track in no time!
Are your thoughts that the downpipe came loose and ignited something in the engine bay? Do you think it could be the aftermarket Ti studs? It sounds like it was torqued to spec...does...
100% Game to try these AP Racing calipers with thicker pads. I absolutely loved my AP Racing Brake setup I had on my Z06. If you can upgrade the calipers and keep the oem rotors, I am 100% in.
If I can buy a set to test, I will install and give feedback right away. I will be running several...
You are make great efforts out on the track! You are definitely making improvements out there and keep it up!
You are pushing the car in some spots and will progress quickly.
It is clear from the video, however, that you are a novice and thats okay. I am sure if you are learning that it...
