So just recently i bought myself one of the Ghost Lock kit from Jordan Distributor and i was wondering, had anybody had any experience on know how or how to installed one of these onto a 2020 Civic.
Sounds like i really do need to upgrade and go with the aftermarket sway bar links.
What all other parts do i need to replace along with with the after market sway bar links to make the ride handles better?
So i just recently lowered my 10th gen Civic. Now i'm having a bit of an issues with my oem sway bar links on both sides. The one on the front passenger side became loose and broke off. And the one on the driver side is loose. I'm assuming that one is about to go, too, real soon. Had any body...
CVT
There's nothing new about Honda's CVT reliability. Honda's CVT in general are among some of the best CVT you can get out there. They're super reliable and durable. These things will last as long as the vehicle if you take good care of them.
The damn thing happen again just 2 days ago. This time it pretty much went away by itself without me having to do anything to it except for turning the vehicle off for like 10 minutes, then turning it back on to igition mode.
Like the weirdest shiet ever with these newer Civics :).
No need. I fixed it already.
It turns out all i had to do was disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery for like 30 minutes. Afterward, i turn on the vehicle by pressing on the engine start button 1 time to get it to mode 1. Then i rebooted the system by holding on to the...
So i was just driving and all of a sudden i hit this big pothole on the front passenger side of my vehicle and now my dashboard is lit up like a christmas tree with all these error lights. I tried disconnecting the positive and negative terminal on my battery for 10 minutes and reconnecting it...
My front accessories socket doesn't work. I tried plugging in 2 different power sockets and i got nothing. I tried checking under the dashboard fuse box and it turns out the #29 20 amp fuse is still good. Could it be that the front accessories socket itself is faulty and needs to be replaced?
I thought about doing that too, but it just never came to my mind on actually do it, you know? It'd be really interesting to see the results after +200K on the engine.
That's something i should have done right around 50K but i just kinda left it like it is.
I do it at every 2 oil changes...
At 200k pretty much all i did to it was i replaced the air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs, and added some fuel additives (Gumout: Multi-System Tune Up) to clean out the fuel injectors. I also change out the oil, coolant, brake fluid, and tranny fluid.
About 1K a month.
Oh, no worries. I love driving. I find driving can be very therapuetic for the mind and the soul.
Well, the fuel door actuator just went out about a few weeks ago. Nothing major. There's no issues with the engine or tranny so far.
No it is not tuned. Thank God!
Alright, i'm fixing to hit the 200k mark with my 2020 Civic with the 1.5 turbo engine real soon and my only concerns is that since it's obviously a high mileage vehicle, now, should i stick with using full synthetic 0-20W oil or should i switch over something else that is made for a high mileage...
