Besides the oil issue. Isn't fuel dilution in the oil a common thing for direct injection engines, like our 1.5t?
People always say, in a direct injection car, don't use them "extended performance" oil/filters because while the filter does the job of filtering debris from oil, the fuel dilution...
For the coupe, maybe, just go with the large dual circle tips but separate them wide enough to where it goes to the edges of the stock outlet cutout. Then in the middle (where there would be a gap), use a stainless steel sheet with your 27won logo branded on there, making sure that the sheet...
Heard Royal Purple got bought out and quality hasn't been same since. I use Mobil 1.
My question is, people who use Mobil 1, do you use Mobil oil filters too? or use Honda OEM with it? Heard some people say Honda OEM filters are good but I doubted them that they are better than Mobil 1's.
I also have Morimoto's on my car, H11b 5000k, and I also tried Hikari LEDs too, like Phylanx lol, and did not like it. The light spread on the LED was only bright on the ground right in front of you and lacked in distance for brightness.
All in all, LED is the same exact beam distance as stock...
Is it just me or does the coupe Si seat belts are a bit too far back? I'm 5'9 and I usually have the seats forward to the point where I can press the clutch all the way comfortably at the toes.
Every time I reach for the seat belt, it feels like I'm about to pop my left shoulder lol or if I use...
I always say a car is only worth as much as how the owner takes care of it. A
Yea, from just comparing coupes and sedans to all of a sudden people hating on RED H EMBLEMS because in the end, its still the exact same f**king honda logo with just red color in it.
Hate myself for getting...
I know you unsubscribed but your comparison with the BMW "M3" is irrelevant. Putting on a M3 on a 240i is like regular civic owners (not Si), putting on the "Type R" logo on their cars. Maybe putting on a "M2" logo on a 240i? Maybe, but no because we, Si owners, aren't putting on the "Type R"...
30 here. I came from a sedan ILX (Si in a tux lol) and I have no "ragrets". I personally love the rear of the coupe too, looks much better, imo, than sedan mainly due to the fact that the rear, fake, vents are smaller on the coupe and the third brake led light is a beauty at night.
Plus, I...
Yea, it was hard finding a good HID. Good thing the one I got offer a lifetime warranty, or as long as the store is still open for business lol which they still are though. I’ll probably go back to LED in the next year or so if they catch up to HID specs.
I’ll try to post a pic from a wall.
Brightness is better than OEM but the stretch of beam is same as OEM output. I’ve tried Hikari LEDs too and found this out. HID has far better reach of light than OEM and LED.
Pretty sure in the next year or two, aftermarket LEDs will eventually be on par with HIDs.
I just really dont understand the laws with front mounted license plates. Here in AZ you don't need front plates which is common sense but where as in Cali, you NEED to have it on the front too but the stupid part is that you only put the registration stickers on the rear.... What is the reason...
They're bulbs are not bad quality. I had 3 separate bulbs to test out; one from hidmasters, one from amazon (HID warehouse? cheap), and morimoto. Obviously the amazon one was cheap and low output and the hid masters were much better. Morimoto on the other hand, it just has so much better cut out...
I live in Arizona (harsh dry heat) and my previous car had vinyl wrap in the front for about a year and a half, before I traded it in, never had issues. Been through rain, car washes (both automated washes and self washes) with detergents, wax and etc. The heat didnt do anything to it either...
I could've probably done it myself but I live in an apartment so I don't have the liberty of having power outlets to plug in a heat gun outside lol Only option was to use a blow torch to heat/shrink the wraps but I aint messin with that, let alone I've never done wrapping either haha
Yea but Im gonna try to find a friend who has a actual camera with a good mic or something. Phones never do justice. Or ill try to find one online thats very close to what youll hear in person based off my experience
