This can be a thread where anyone with a NON SPORT hatchback who is thinking about or has done a custom exhaust can post their details and setup for others so we can get ideas on what to do with our cars. There has been ZERO aftermarket exhausts on the market for a non sport, even though I would say a good percentage of owners on here own a non sport hatch.
I currently have an EX hatch with the Type R style rear diffuser and plan on having something custom done to give me the center exit exhaust. I have seen YS Racing do quite a few for this trim but they use titanium and after shipping just for an axle back costs minimum a grand shipped so that's not really a viable option.
Here are a couple options I am considering to do for my car to work with my diffuser. I have already discussed keeping the stock mufflers and having the ends routed behind the diffuser like in these pics with a set of tips for about $200. I am considering finding a set of round universal mufflers to replace the giant stock ones and lighten it up while maybe changing the sound ever so slightly while keeping it sounding mostly stock. If I don't go that route I will keep the oem mufflers. I use my car for Uber so I don't want anything crazy to bother my riders. Again, please share your thoughts or what you have personally done to gather ideas for the left out people lol.
