Plastidip EX-T Rims / Wheels ?

Has anyone seen what Plastidipped EX-T rims look like? I want to get nice black rims and im debating if plastidipping the stock rims looks good. Another idea would be to sell the rims, and put it towards some HFPs. idk how much the ex-t factory rims go for?

Doesn't look good IMO. There's too many elements on the EX-T wheels so plastidipping it looks weird, makes it all look like a plastic hubcap.

at first I was not a fan of the rims... but they have grown on me... now I look at them and I say they look great, specially the grooves in the black portion of the rims.... the pictures above of the plastidip is horendous, ruined perfectly clean look

gas mileage, the rims with less space and a flatter face help more with mileage. look at the old civic hybrid rims, they were almost solid.

yeah it was me who did it..peeled them about a two weeks later..the spokes are way too big to play off the whole hubcap look. never know till you try it I guess right?

They appeal to some people. I bought my car last night and today at work someone was asking if I wanted to sell the rims.

Painting the EX-T rims silver makes them almost completely identical to the 9th gen LX hubcaps

the hatchback wheels appear to be black and they look good imo. Strange that more people havent tried this considering how popular plasti dipped wheels are.

Thats the only reason I asked. lol I think the dipped rims in black would be nice. The HB wheels are pretty much the same just in a black or dark grey color. The silver dip looks horrible. I'm new to this but can you explain pros and cons of dipping vs. wrapping the rims black?
