This update allows us to crank up the boost as desired with new access to the Final Boost Target table. Speaking as a fellow L15B7 owner, be careful with this as you can certainly damage your engine or transmission if you get carried away with things.

Version 1.0.5.5

2017 Civic Si
  • Initial Support For 2017 Si 5AM-A03
CivicX
  • Support For Additional 16-17 Civic Turbo ECU Versions
  • Final Boost Target Map Access Added

08-12 Accord V6 AT
  • VCM Disable Added For All 08-12 Accord V6 AT Models
09-13 Fit
  • 2010 Fit RP3-A04 and RP3-A54 Support Added

Nice... you beat me to it... JR mentioned he would be adding more settings in a new version... plus I think I am finally getting the Boost Target Dampening setting on mine... not 100% sure as I am still downloading it.

A funny thing happened on my way to logging the new cal Vit sent which I uploaded successfully, after updating the KTuner program. The problem is won't connect, just stalls out at authenticating and gives an intermittent not responding message. Tried rebooting it and the computer and then reloaded the software again. My V2 confirms I'm in the OBD2, but getting nothing but zeros on the computer program...humm ??

Not sure on that one. I downloaded the software and ran it on the computer but have not yet connected to the tuner yet.

so essentially this is getting us "up to par" with the +9psi option that Hondata has? except if one were ballsy enough, we could go even higher?
Not sure I want to push it over the +6psi, but would love to hear some feedback once someone tries this out!

out of curiosity, do any of you stalk the ktuner facebook page or other means on a daily basis to see if they post updates? lol I feel like a crazy ex just watching for new posts :)

The Hondata 9psi option is interesting. While it does have a bit more HP than the Ktuner 21psi it does not have as much torque. This update allows you to add more boost if desired but more boost is not always the answer. It will take a careful balance of boost, timing, and fuel maps. That is where the experience and knowledge of a pro tuner comes in handy. We can play a bit ourselves but should proceed with caution.

Always excited to see a new update from Ktuner.

Yeah it should say A65 instead of L65.

Did you check to make sure it's supported on the website?

I'll recheck the site again. Coming from Hondata shouldn't be a part of it, right?

Nope, I did that too. Go to File>new tune and screenshot those selections for CVT base maps

Yeah. Looks like I'll have to wait for info@ktuner to add my ecu to the list.
