Remote Start

So the new civic is looking really impressive.
Looking at moving to it from my Elantra.

There is one thing Honda doesn't seem to offer though and that's an equivalent to Blue Link.

Most importantly the remote start app.
Nothing like a warm butt on a cold winters night.

Hopefully never need them but the remote engine disable would also be nice if the car was stolen.

Anyone know if Honda has any plans to offer something similar?
Or would I have to go after market?

Honda has Honda Link, but it does not work exactly like Blue Link. That being said, the trend this year with new model releases is that EX trims and above have remote start on the key fob.

This is the case with the 2016 Pilot and Accord. While not a remote app, it does work within a distance of 60 yards.

We'll know tomorrow if the Civic will have it as well.
