Hey guys, I am considering buying a hondata flahshpro for civic hatchback, im wondering how much does it cost if take it to a authorize dealer to do it. or most of you guys do it urself?

If you're talking about a one time dealer reflash where they install a tune but you don't own the device, I think it's something like $350. But IMO, it makes zero sense to do that.

For example, if you need to go back to stock for a Honda dealer visit, you'd have to go back to a Hondata dealer to have them do that, or to unlock the unit. Not only is that inconvenient, it may cost additional money.

Buy the unit. Uploading a tune yourself is easy once you know the basics. And the cool thing is these have good resale value so if you sell it, you get back a good portion of your money. Also consider the more popular KTuner.
