haha hopefully they finish the illumination & charger installs by tomorrow so I can pick it up. In the meantime my wife took over the 2016 Accord loaner they gave me.dahyan, a polished metal metallic in a Sport Touring. race you in my LX for it.
I think that's a bit more than "lil high" don't you think? Especially with no packages you could have found another dealership to work with you.Just paid 26,000 otd for an EX with no package and gap insurance in CA.
A lil high but I had to have a red one and they new it.
23.5 was the sticker btw.
I probably could've gotten lower, but it was the last Sonic Grey Sport Touring in the state, and I already asked to match 26800 via e-mail. I'm also not good at negotiating, so there's that, too.I got $26009.47 for the base price on Sat (PMM ST). Will post breakdown later.
Dang. That is a bit high. I paid 23300 OTD on an EX with no packages. I am also in California. My car did come with film that protects the side mirrors, door handles and door edges. Not sure if that comes like that from factory or if the dealership added it, since my car had just gotten off the truck when I purchased it.Just paid 26,000 otd for an EX with no package and gap insurance in CA.

I'm not either normally but I think the dealer for whatever reason was more hungry to sell than I was to buy. I told them up front I didn't need a car I just wanted one. haha Plus I kept telling them I wanted to order a blue one but when I saw this one I liked it better but didn't let him know that. Even got him to pull up a lower trim blue to compare side by side and didn't let on that I was now swayed. He said his manager "really" wanted to sell this one. So I made them sell to me and ignored answering any what do I want to pay questions. Told them to tell me what they will sell it for and then I played indecisive and they offered to drop it again. Deal. I didn't really negotiate on the accessories but got them to match Saccucci pricing for Hondacare and they offered to do better on the Hondacare maintenance. So I probably have Hondacare longer than I may keep the car but the price was much lower than what they offered for less that I couldn't help it.I probably could've gotten lower, but it was the last Sonic Grey Sport Touring in the state, and I already asked to match 26800 via e-mail. There was 1 dealer within a 150 mile radius that had a red hatch. LOLI think that's a bit more than "lil high" don't you think? Especially with no packages you could have found another dealership to work with you.

Me neither, I paid 21,4 for my LX and I am mortified of negots. Love my LX and lesson well learned!! But to my credit, I only paid 21,4 OTD with 500 trade-in. Not bad for a fraidy cat. My sales guy threw me a lifeline by making sure I had Honda Sensing! I made out like a bandit and I made sure the sales guy was in my corner cause he helped me get 500 cash from another employee. I could buy another at below invoice now that I know how to boss some people around there but luckily I avoided seeing his boss and playing that whole back and forth fame.I probably could've gotten lower, but it was the last Sonic Grey Sport Touring in the state, and I already asked to match 26800 via e-mail. I talked to 6 or 7 dealers. I got them lower in person than they were doing over email though... Sport honda said they'd get me some numbers but never called back. You were right about the others. Bel Air and Norris were pretty close in price but Bel Air was better. The next lowest was still quite higher with their parts "at cost". And I was not even going to give College Park a try even if I might save more. So I'm good with it. HehHm.. Ouch.
My sale price was: 24,959.01
So you about $1000 higher than me. Guessing no other dealership was willing to go lower?
BTW my sale price includes destination so I think we're actually pretty close. I see you listed it separately.I talked to 6 or 7 dealers. A base civic that spanks the previous gen SI though.Remember guys, it is still a Civic so, IMHO, paying north of 23k regardless of trim (sans Si, CTR) is out of bounds and deserves a timeout. (lol)
