The cvt is a second fatser than honda publishes, 0-100km/h in 7,2 seconds, its has been shown in various youtube videos.
Catalogue states 8 seconds or something like that.

Fact is, a cvt is the most performance orientated of all transmisions.
It puts the engine constantly in the sweet spot.
And its was banned out of F1 because it was too advantageous towards certain teams.

Negatives are the droning sound and perhaps the lack of 'engagement' if thats what your looking for.
Ow and, much more limited for tuning, if thats what you want to do further down the road.

If you can live with the character, its a sweet transmission that fits the 1.5 perfectly.

I went back and forth between an EX and EX-L, but I test drove the EX and could not stand the texture of the cloth seats. I had a 2008 Civic with cloth seats that was amazing for the disgusting Florida heat but the new cloth they are using is not enjoyable on bare legs.I have a sun shade because my car also sits outside in the sun and I've never had an issue with the leather. Super glad I went with the EX-L.
