Yeah, I looked at a few and they all had CVT. I really did get lucky here finding one in a manual. I'm sure your daughter will love one, it's as comfortable as my Accord. It also has a lot of safety features that will give you peace of mind.

UC Irvine huh? Sounds expensive :cool:
Thankfully she is only there for two years, she has one year left to graduate. We did save a ton of money because she didn't have to live on campus ?

I almost got a Corolla instead of my Sport Hatch. Honda’s cargo capacity was the deciding factor. Concur that the Corolla is quieter and plenty fun to drive (wringing out the tach on a naturally aspirated motor is its own reward) even if slower than a Civic, and the Corolla’s clutch is much nicer but the shifter not quite a match for Honda. Nice to have choices between different flavors of good.
