Civic Si Mishimoto Intake IAT 1 temps

Can any SI owners with the mishimoto intake post IAT1 readings? I tried reaching out to Mishimoto to see if they could provide any data but have yet to hear from them.

While driving highway I've seen as low as 9 above ambient. It's not a cold air for sure. Averages around 13-18 above on city, it heats up quickly at idle.

Happy to report that this works! Currently running the Mishimoto Intake System and temperature levels seem to directly correlate with the forward motion of the vehicle.

Ambient: 61 F
IAT2 Stopped: 80-89 F
IAT2 @50 MPH: 71-75 F

This test was conducted within a short 15 minute drive

This is my post from a different thread. The Mishimoto intake, given its design is decent as far as IAT’s are concerned. As long as you provide forward motion, the intake does what it’s designed to do, better than the stock system.

I agree.. I have had intake for couple months, it's been hot summer..my highest was 140F, rush hour traffic, when moving it's pretty good 10-20 above ambient.
