We are the exclusive US Distributors of Zoom Engineering in the United States. We did some testing on the base Civic models and have a Type R fitment and pictures in the works.

Shown are the Oval Carbon (which is smaller than than the OEM mirror) which has the blue convex anti-glare mirror that gives the same coverage with a smaller footprint. We also have the TS-Carbon which is roughly the same size as the OEM mirror but has a lot more coverage in the same area (once again due to the convex mirror).

Let me know what you guys think, once we have some pictures of them installed on the Type R we will be doing a group buy.

Top Mirror is Zoom TS with Blue Mirror and bottom is regular Rear View Mirror. Look at the difference in coverage from the same distance.

Here are some more pictures of the different mirrors they make (Monaco 240 [TOP] - Penta [Middle] - Oval [Bottom])

Here is the TS-Carbon Straight on

And for my Spoon heads this is Carbon Kevlar shown in the Monaco 240 model

All come with the convex blue mirror, which is more coverage and anti glare

What is the wight difference between stock and the smaller one? I also presume the anti-glare means that at night there is no need to adjust it like with the stock mirrors?

I don't have exact weight but the larger mirrors weigh 190 grams which is about .4 lbs. The mount is made of plastic so its not heavy, overall it's under 1 pound for everything. The OEM mirror isn't heavy either, but there are more steel bits to it so I'd say you may save as much as 1/2 pound if that

Yup no need to adjust at night for glare

Cool. Thanks for the info. I loved your help and products on my CR-Z and can't wait for my CTR to come in and get some goodies from a great company like yours for it.

How hard is removal of the stock mirror/mount?
the whole thing takes like 5/10 minutes. Its extremely simple, just the loosening for a bolt basically
