Installed my Deluxe set tonight... I've got a bit of an issue with the clips that are supposed to hold the rear guards in place. They don't fit snugly enough to actually hold the rock guards against the fender liner. They slide off immediately after being out on. Guess I need to reach out to ZL1 about it, as the rear guards guards don't feel secure being held in by just the two factory screws up top.

Edit: after messing around with the guards for a few minutes, I think I have the clips "somewhat" snug enough to hold them in place. They still don't feel extremely secure, but it's probably safe enough with the top two screws in place.

Pinch the clips then install to make it more snug.

Honda Civic 10th gen ZL1 Addons Type R Rock Guards Are Ready! FF9FC6A3-7F0E-4606-A575-095144437C38
Put mine on this past weekend. I’m not a fan of mud flaps because I think they look tacky, but I love how subtle and sleek this look. It lines up perfectly with my new wheel set up. I drove w/out it for a week, and I found a little bit of asphalt tar on the side skirt. Definitely a must have if you have aftermarket wheels that sit flush with the fender.

Installed my ZL1 Addons Deluxe Rock Guards today. They are exactly what I was looking for. Now, I do have one question, did anybody else have the problem with the screws that wouldn’t stop spinning? I would say that out of the entire install, there were roughly three of them that wouldn’t stop spinning.

Yes if the screw spins it just mean the receiving bracket for the crew to thread into has moved. Just gotta reach around and make sure it’s there and in the right place. It’s similar to the clips on the back two.

The nut has moved. You need to remove it and center the nut again.

Tried fixing those three screws with no success. Do you guys think medium strength loctite on the threads will help?

Are you sure the screw is catching the nut? This happened to one of my screws, and the above worked. Maybe but slightly larger diameter screws?

If I try it without the mud guard it catches but for some reason it doesn’t want to do it with the mud guard on. It drove me nuts for like 30 minutes and then I gave up. Do you have a picture of what this nut that it’s supposed to be catching onto looks like?

Has anyone painted these yet?
You can't really paint these types of plastic... and it's not really cost effective to paint. Visit a collision repair place and i'm sure they'll quote you 120% more than what these things cost.
