So much great info again. I do have my carseat in my Xterra so I can easily do a quick test fit. I'm tempted to step up to a Sport Touring, but it is about $3500 more than the EX I have been looking at. I feel like I'd be way more OCD about the Sport Touring than the EX. And I know spills are bound to happen in the back with the kids.

I have a 2015 Pro 4X black Xterra with a 3-inch lift sitting on 33 in DuraTrac in the driveway. And a 2019 4 door sport sedan. I use the Civic for my daily driver and the Xterra is the toy. Why not have both... Lol

Man, I still miss this thing. I do wish I had not traded it.

FYI if you’re not into the perks of tech, etc. and interior, the sport trim I love. It has all the exterior finishes and for the Hatchback keeps the 1.5t. Not sure where it prices next to EX cuz I never considered anything else lol

That has crossed my mind actually. I thought about maybe getting an older Civic as a daily, but finding a relatively cheap one without a gazillion miles on it crushed those thoughts. My X is pretty much back to stock now, ready to trade-in if I decide to do so.

Here in SoCal, the used market is showing that an EX is only about $1000 more than what a Sport goes for. I'm not a tech geek by any means, but it would be nice to have some tech. My 2011 Xterra has been stuck in 2005 in regards to tech...or lack there of. I was considering a 6M Sport, but then had to remind myself of why I got rid of my 2007 WRX Sedan and 2006 WRX Limited Wagon...the SoCal traffic sucks! I got tired of doing the 1st gear / 2nd gear shuffle to and from work for almost an hour each way. That being said, I think the CVT of the EX HB would suit me well.
