Hi all,
I have a 2016 Civic Lx that I have on lease and was planning on buying out.
Recently, the car has had a window issue on both driver and passenger side that I've taken to the dealer 3x now. The windows make an incredibly loud banging/hitting sound when switching from rolling it down to rolling it up or vice versa.
The first time, they cleaned the track. Second time replaced the window motors. Third time re-assembled everything. It still has the same issue. The AC for some reason went out too. They didn't have the part so I've been driving a month without it.
The dealership is now trying to set up a meeting to see the Regional Honda Representative to discuss "options"
I was wondering if anyone has had this sort of experience or what any of this means.
The car has 35,800 miles on it. The lease is up in March. Since I was planning to buy it out, I was debating an extended warranty.
Any help or guidance on what to do or how to approach this would be appreciated!
